miniDos, a young and very aggressive north Italian Company, asked Niarb to develop an up to date minipaver capable of travelling speeds above 10Km/hour.

Starting from the smallest crawler mounted mini-paver designed for SIMESA (Italy) in the early seventies (not even mentioned in previous description of all Niarb-SIMESA machines), Niarb designed in the late eighties an advanced little paver called "N-4" showing outstanding technical features. The most intriguing element of this paver is the Flexible Crawler Belt, an unsurpassed piece of modern technique, enabling a crawler mounted paver to travel at speeds comparable with those of traditional Rubber Tyre Mounted Pavers.

Many other advanced technical features of this little paver made it an instant success in Europe.

The "Niarb Flex-Belt", manufactured by highly qualified workshops under Niarb's supervision, is to day one of the key components of modern Asphalt Pavers.
