Niarb was founded after the IInd World War by a few graduate engineers and highly skilled technicians. Main objective was to concentrate all energies on studying and developing advanced devices, machinery and plants in the field of Construction Equipment. Niarb's founders considered independence from any conditioning by single Manufacturers and related Unions the most important premise for quick reaction to any input from the market. Niarb's founders believed that rapid "high-tech" response to the ever-changing requirements of the market is vital for success in manufacturing Construction Equipment.
What does the word NIARB mean? Is it an acronym?
Niarb's founders are very reticent about it. We prefer to simply read the name backwards:
If one reads the word "NIARB" backwards, then one gets "BRAIN", which is just the stuff needed for a company to quickly study and develop advanced machines and plants in a rapid changing market
sector. From the start, Niarb was equipped with the most advanced office gear for evaluating initial projects, for studying advanced solutions with sophisticated computers and for producing high quality drawings and "data bases" enabling its customer to rapidly start profitable manufacturing operation.

In order to guarantee maximum speed in delivering technically advanced drawings and instructions to its customer, Niarb has soon introduced "tele-projecting" and "tele-design" (supported by sophisticated data exchange networks).The flexibility obtained this way has put Niarb many years ahead of all other conventional designing offices, particularly if belonging to a single Manufacturing Industry.
Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) were from the start the basic tools used by Niarb to develop its highly sophisticated engineering products.
First of all, let's rapidly describe the technology sector in which Niarb operates: the study and design of Construction Equipment.
Mankind has from the start worked hard to improve its environment. Building houses, roads, dams, reclaiming fields for growing useful crop etc are the most important operations man has performed in order to make its life less dangerous and / or more comfortable. A few animals also use some of their energy to better their living conditions. Beavers are famous for constructing dams in order to protect their homes. Man started behaving differently from animals when he skilfully adopted tools, and later more complicated an powerful equipment to more efficiently transform nature into something more comfortable to live in, and more beautiful to look at.
Ancient Egyptians could never have built the Pyramids without making use of sophisticated equipment based on the principle of the "inclined plane". Summing it up, our "technology sector" is very challenging and stimulating for people like us at Niarb, that are in love with science, technology and feel a burning desire to help improving living conditions of the people.
Niarb technicians are "specialists". They have spent a large portion of their working life on the job sites studying the most efficient ways to improve efficiency of construction.
